PCDA leads or participates in programs designed to improve the quality of life for Prentiss County residents and to support the county’s economic development efforts in a variety of ways.

PROGRAMS

College Tuition Guarantee Program
We strive to ensure a well-educated work force by supporting the College Tuition Guarantee Program. Under that program, Prentiss County residents who complete high school in any of the county or municipal school systems are eligible to receive tuition funding.

Council of Governments
We play an active role in the Prentiss County Council of Governments, which brings together government representatives from the county and municipal levels. The council fosters closer working relationships in order to realize greater efficiencies, provide well-coordinated services, and ensure that Prentiss County offers a highly favorable climate for business and industry.

TAP Alliance
We participate in the TAP Alliance, formed to coordinate the economic development of Tishomingo, Alcorn, and Prentiss counties. Working together, we can offer resources and opportunities beyond what any of the counties could provide working alone.
